DOUGLAS – Frank A. Perkins, 69, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at St. Vincent's Hospital, and was surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Irene C. (Couture) Perkins, five children, May Wendel of Fairbanks, Alaska, Francis Perkins and his wife Ruth of Strubridge, Patrick Perkins and his wife Eliisa of Millbury, Eilene Ahr and her husband Arthur of Osteen, FL, and Annette Foshee and her husband Eddie of Douglas. He is pre-deceased by his parents Francis and Mildred Perkins, and his brother Lawrence Perkins. Frank enjoyed spending time with his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and his dog Susie. He worked at McDonnell Douglas for 12 years before retiring, and enjoyed fishing, golf, and making jewelry.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 22nd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a gathering of family and friends at 4 p.m. at his son's, Pat and Eliisa's home in Millbury. Burial will be private in Vermont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01707.
