December 16, 1938 — June 26, 2002

MILLBURY - Frederick A. Lambert, 63, of 42 Burbank St., formerly of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 26 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Gail T. (McKeown) Granger Lambert; four sons, Scott F. Lambert of Worcester, Richard, Thomas and Brian Lambert all of Millbury; two brothers, Edward Lambert of Worcester and Ronald Lambert of Oxford; two sisters, Gloria LeBel of Millbury and Joyce Reidle of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three granddaughters; nephews and nieces. He predeceased by two brothers, Alfred and Eugene Lambert and a sister, Yvette Lambert. He was born in Worcester, son of Athanase and Celina (Lamoureaux) Lambert and lived in Worcester until moving to Millbury three years ago.

Mr. Lambert worked at FlynnTM)s Truck Stop, in Shrewsbury for five years, retiring two years ago, due to illness. Previously he worked for the Contractors Union, Local #170 in Worcester.

He was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Worcester. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper.

The funeral will be held Saturday, June 29, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 28, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity.
