Frieda W. (McKinstry) Hines, 89, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 in her home, surrounded by her family.
Her husband, Robert J. Hines Sr. died in 1976. She leaves a son, Robert J. Hines Jr. and his wife Dorothy and a daughter, Kathleen J. Whitten all of Millbury; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Auburn and is predeceased by her parents George and Frieda (Volker) McKinstry and a son Ronald Hines.
She was a loving and caring person and was an avid reader, gardener, cook and loved caring for her family.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6th in the North Uxbridge Baptist Church, 5 East Hartford Ave., North Uxbridge. Burial will be private in West Millbury Cemetery in West Millbury. The family will meet relatives and friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the church service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Millbury Federated Church Food Pantry, 20 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
