MILLBURY G. Viola (Gwozdowski) Queenan, 77, of 5 Pineland Ave., died Friday, March 10th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
She leaves a daughter, Sheila A. and her husband William J. Hamilton of Millbury; a sister, Stella Weldon of Millbury; nephews and nieces and her former husband, Thomas J. Queenan of Millbury. She is predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Helen (Arkieszewski) Gwozdowski, three sisters, Georgia Caporale, Helen Rutkevicz and Mary Pieklik; three brothers, Alexander, Edward and Stanley Gwozdowski.
Mrs. Queenan was a clerk for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, in Westborough for 10 years, retiring in 1991. Previously she was a hairdresser working in the Worcester area. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Her funeral will be held Monday, March 13th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday March 12th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
