MILLBURY G. Lorraine (Vaillancourt) Witkowski, 81, of 80 Main St., died Friday, June 30th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Stanley Witkowski; five children; Stephen F. Witkowski of Thetford, VT, Stanley Witkowski of Lyme, NH, Philip A. Witkowski of Sutton, William J. Witkowski of Laguna Niguel, CA and James A. Witkowski of Hermosa Beach, CA; two sisters, Lucienne LaRose of Northbridge and Gail Rawinski of Millbury; four brothers, Francis Vaillancourt of Millbury, Arsene Vaillancourt of West Yarmouth, Ronald Vaillancourt of Douglas and Robert Vaillancourt of Millbury; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents, Arsene and Angelina (Carrignant) Vaillancourt, a son, Donald T. Witkowski a brother Maurice Vaillancourt and a sister, Nora Mae Dalpe.
Mrs. Witkowski graduated from Millbury High School in 1943 and was Past President and a member of the Auxiliary of the Charles F. Minney Post VFW and Past President and member of the Millbury Golden Age. She was a Navy veteran during WW II.
LorraineTM)s funeral will be held Wednesday, July 5th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 4th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
