September 21, 1956 — November 6, 2011

HOLLAND - Gail M (Hoyt) Dutter, 55, raised in Millbury and resided in Holland, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday November 6th.
She was an beloved mother , wife and a cherished friend.

At age 20 she left her family in Massachusetts to join her husband in the military. Her travels took her to Germany, Texas, Missouri, and back to Massachusetts in 1997. Because of a loving and outgoing life, she leaves countless friends and loved ones around the world. Gail opened her heart and home to all those in need and never asked for anything in return. Her pleasure was her family and friends. She was the owner and designer of "Serendipity Stained Glass", among which included memorializing fallen loved ones through glass art.

Gail was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Carroll "Carl" and Jeanine (Renauld) Hoyt. She is survived by her husband, Elde Dutter and son Nicholas; sisters Cindy and her husband Bill Buffone of Oxford; Patricia Hutchins of Southbridge; brother Christopher (Chip) Hoyt and wife Denise of Oxford; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 10th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury Burial will be in St. Philip's Cemetery in Grafton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Home Base Program, 165 Cambridge St., Boston, MA 02114, in Gail's name, www.homebaseprogram.com , in honor of military families like her own.
