MILLBURY – Gail J. (White) Salois, 72, died Tuesday, Jan. 26th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Her husband and soul-mate, Ronald L. Salois died in 1997. She leaves two sons, Joe Salois and his wife Joanne of Sutton, Donald K. Salois and his wife Brenda of Millbury; six daughters, Barbara Young and her husband Brian, Tracy Baroni and her husband Michael, Kim Gilbert and her husband Jeffrey, Christine McMahan and her husband John, all of Millbury, Robin Proctor and her husband James, Nancy Norquist and her husband Steve, all of Dudley; nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Dorothy (McLaughlin) White and a brother Donald White.
Mrs. Salois' passion was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to care for her grandchildren and would spend most of her time with them, especially with her granddaughter and best friend, "Billie".
Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29th in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. The family respectfully asked that those attending the Funeral Mass go directly to church. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery in Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Choroideremia Research Foundation, 23 East Brundeth St., Springfield, MA 01109. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
