SUTTON – George E. Jackson, 68, died Tuesday, May 08, 2012 in his home, after being stricken ill.
He leaves two sisters, Doris M. Wilczynski of Millbury and Jane E. Perron of Worcester; two brothers, Robert B. Jackson of Woonsocket, RI and William B. Jackson of Worcester; several nieces and nephews and his former wife, Pamela Gurney Farnham of Sutton. He is predeceased by his parents, Ernest A. Jackson and Emma J. (O'Brien) Jackson-Dubois and a sister, Barbara T. Jackson.
George graduated from Millbury Memorial High School. He was former owner and operator of George's Auto Repair in Millbury. He had a life-long interest in cars, motorcycles, NASCAR and horses. He was a volunteer at the Waters Farm in Sutton and a former member of the Sutton Lions Club.
A calling hour will held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A funeral service will be held immediately following the calling hour at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Waters Farm Preservation, 4 Uxbridge Rd., Sutton, MA 01590.
