George Law

George R. Law 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday December 30th in Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness.

George leaves his devoted and beloved wife of 62 years, Dolores R. (Mero) Law; two children Kenneth P. Law and his spouse William E. Bushey, of Worcester and Doreen M. and her husband John T. Westermark of Auburn; three grandchildren, Ashley E. Westermark and her fiancAC., Alex D. Stoyanov of Chelsea, Anna M. and Eric J. Westermark of Auburn; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Rhoda (McCollum) Law; and his siblings Edward Law, Albert Law, Melvin Law, John Law and Elizabeth Nichols.

George was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for 30 years as a chief draftsman and manager of the engineering department of Warren Pumps in Warren, MA. In his retirement, George worked as a parts runner for his son-in-law at Westermark's Truck Repair. He was an avid golfer and loved golfing with his grandson, Eric. He cherished getting together with family and friends and his warm spirit and generous manner always made everyone feel like part of his family.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the wonderful staff at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Especially Jeanne from Lunder 10, and Theresa from the Infusion Center, who George said were his angels on earth, for the loving care that they gave to him.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 4th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street Millbury, MA.

His funeral will follow the calling hours with a funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury, MA. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn, MA.
