EAST BROOKFIELD – George L. Leary Jr., 83, of East Brookfield, formerly of Millbury, died Friday, Sept. 12th at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, after being stricken ill.
He leaves a brother, Donald F. Leary of Millbury and two nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, George L. and Agnes G. (Henchey) Leary.
Mr. Leary was an electrician and worked for many companies in the Worcester area. He was a Navy veteran during WW II.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. His graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16th in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
