SUTTON – Gerald “Jerry” A. Henault, 78, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, Oct. 11th surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry leaves his wife of 58 years, Susan L. (Osgood) Henault; five children, Ronald J. Henault of South Grafton, John C. Henault and his wife, Paula of Millbury, Donna M. Sheehan and her husband, Kevin of North Grafton, Michelle M. Henault of Grafton and Cathy S. Maranda and her husband, Brian of Grafton; nine grandchildren, Brian John, Ryan, Jackie, Andy, Meaghan, Kaitlin, Mikayla, Amanda and Matt; eleven great grandchildren; his brother, Rev. John L. Henault O.M.I. of Haiti; his sister, Mary A. Mahoney of Uxbridge; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Phyllis (Matuzek) Henault and a son, Richard.
Jerry worked for many years at General Motors, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and working with his tractors. Jerry was an avid ham radio operator. The family would like to thank Dr. Bradley Switzer and Lauren Orzechowski, PA for all their care and support.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jerry’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 17th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18th at St. James Church, 89 Main Street in South Grafton. Burial will follow at St. Philips Cemetery in Grafton.
