MARLBOROUGH - Glenn B. Morello, 40, of 25 Stevens Street, formerly of Millbury, died Thursday, Jan. 30, at UMASS Memorial Marlborough Hospital, after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves his wife, Wendy A. (Lavallee) Morello of Millbury; two daughters, Amanda Morello and Tiana Putnam both of Millbury; his parents, Henry J. Morello of Millbury and Genevieve Y. Provost of Woodstock, Ct.; a brother, John R. Morello of Shrewsbury; a sister, Kay F. Young of Thompson, Ct. a nephew and nieces. A brother, Henry J. Morello Jr. died in 1980. He was born in Worcester and had lived in Michigan, but has lived in Millbury most of his life.
Mr. Morello was an independent contractor. He was a member of Clearview Country Club in Millbury and was a bass and guitar player in several local bands. He was an avid golfer and had won several tournaments.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigids Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday Jan. 31, in the funeral home.
