MILLBURY Grace E. (Stafford) Kasputis, 78, formerly of 24 Wilson Rd., died Monday, March 1st, in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, in Northbridge.
Her husband, Donald W. Kasputis died in 2001. She leaves two loving daughters, Janet Toklu and Joan OTM)Connor both of Millbury; two sons, Paul Kasputis of West Springfield and Philip Kasputis of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Theresa Braney of Auburn and Ann Hanson and Rita Merriam both of Oxford; a brother, John Stafford of Oxford; six grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A sister, Margaret M. Kasputis predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Harry and Georgiana (King) Stafford and has lived in Millbury most of her life.
Mrs. Kasputis was a nurses aide at the former Pine Grove Villa Nursing Home for 15 years, retiring in 1988. She also worked in the payroll department at Worcester Stamp Metal Company in Worcester, for 4 years.
Grace lived for and loved her family very dearly. She was a long and devoted member of St. BrigidTM)s Parish. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening
Her funeral will be held Friday, March 5th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday March 4th, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the AlzheimerTM)s Assoc., 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, Ma. 02140-1102.
