DOUGLAS – Gwendolyn M. (Vienneau) LeClair, 84, formerly of Sutton, passed away Friday June 15 2018 peacefully in her daughter’s (Rhonda Stimson) home surrounded by her loving family.
Gwendolyn’s husband, Felix L. LeClair passed away in 2002.
She leaves a son, David J. LeClair & his wife Tammi LeClair of Sutton; four daughters, Rhonda G.Stimson & her husband Bruce W. Stimson and Therese R. Hatfield of Douglas, Catherine A. Mayotte of Millbury and Margaret L. Caplette & her husband Peter Caplette of Brookfield;
Fourteen grandchildren; Shawn Stimson & wife Kathi Stimson, Joshua Mayotte, Heather Hatfield, Dwayne Stimson, Mindy (Mayotte) Lent, Justin Mayotte & Wife Karen Mayotte, Amanda Hatfield, Christopher Caplette & wife Melissa Caplette, Danielle Guerin, Andrew LeClair, Nicholas LeClair, Timmy Nogler, Crystal Nogler and Sarah (Caplette) Greene & her husband Daniel Greene.
Eighteen great grandchildren; Christopher Thibeault, Carrissa Henshaw & her husband Travis Henshaw, Cynthia Bowman & her husband Mark Bowman, Angelique Boisvert, Sam (Mayotte) Lent, Alainna Georges, Kai Mayotte, Sebastian Mayotte, Elijah Mayotte, Sadie Mayotte, Gabriel Mayotte, Tristan Caplette, Kitiara Stimson, Julian Stimson, Rielly Greene, Kayleiegh Labrecque, Carmeron Labrecque, Rosely LeClair.
Eight great-great grandchildren; Xavier Thibeault, Raistlin Thibeault, Rayne Thibeault, Damien Thibeault, Kaycee Henshaw, Bryce Henshaw, Maveriek Bowman, Daniel Gregnon; many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a grandson, Ian Hatfield and a great granddaughter, Britney (Mayotte) Lent.
Gwendolyn enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, reading and she loved going to the ocean. Most she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Gwendolyn’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 21st from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
