MILLBURY- H. Bertha (Pogson) Tarbox, 84, of 16 Lincoln Ave., died Thursday, Sept. 5, in her home, after an illness.
Her husband, Ernest T. Tarbox died in 1995. She leaves two daughters, Barbara A. Bernard and Judith E. Flynn both of Millbury; two sisters, Dorothy M. Davis and Beatrice C. Pogson both of Alton, New Hampshire; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; a nephew and a niece. She is predeceased by a brother, Arthur Pogson. She was born in Beverly, daughter of Herbert and Hilda Mary (Roberts) Pogson and has lived in Millbury for 57 years.
Mrs. Tarbox and her husband owned and operated Tarbox Florist for 50 years, before she retired. She was a member of the former Millbury Grange and the Amvets Auxiliary
The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. Burial will be in private in Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice, Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worceser, Ma. 01608.
