MILLBURY – Harold G. Watts, 84, died Wednesday in Millbury Health Care Center.

His first wife, Lucette (Brown) Watts died in 1977. Lucette was the mother of his adult children, David Watts and his wife Karen of Rindge, NH, Diana Wass and her husband Gregory of Sutton, Bruce Watts and his wife Nancy of Falmouth and Harold Watts Jr. and his wife Carol of Falmouth. He also leaves his wife, Joyce (Thomas) Watts and two step-daughters, Diane Marino and her husband John of Shrewsbury and Debra Vescera of Holden; a brother, George Watts and his wife Donna of Vallejos, CA, two aunts, Alice Lucier and Louise Murphy, an uncle Thomas Pickett, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and was a resident of Millbury his entire life. He is predeceased by his parents, Rudolph and Doris (Pickett) Watts, a daughter, Claudia Huchowski, who died in 1994, a grandson, Stephen Huchowski, who died in 2005 and a brother, Paul Watts.

Harold was an Army veteran during WW II from 1942 to 1945 serving with the anti-tank Company, 179th Infantry, where he received the Combat Infantry Badge. He was an auto mechanic in which he had a reputation of being "the best mechanic" ever.

His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton.
