MILLBURY Harry C. Knight, 84, of 2 Pearl St., died Wednesday, Oct. 15 in his home, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Marjorie K. Daubney Knight; two daughters, Marjorie E. Swenson of Millbury and Claudia Barthelmes of Welborn, Fl.; a son, Kenneth Knight of Woonsocket, R.I.; two sisters, Helen Gordon in Maine and Lillian Jackson of Ca.; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. He was born in Rhode Island, son of John S. and Winifred (Northup) Knight and has lived here 60 years.
He was Army veteran during WW II and received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Millbury Federated Church and was a life member of the Dudley-Gendron American Legion Post in Sutton and the Charles F. Minney V.F.W. Post.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m.Wednesday, Oct. 22, in Central Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Network, Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worcester, Ma. 01608-1280 or to the Auburn District Nursing Assoc., 129 Pakachoag St., Auburn, Ma. 01501. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., is in charge of the arrangements.
