SUTTON Hazel M. (Tebo) Nelson, 91, formerly of Boston Rd., Sutton, died Saturday, Nov. 20th in Radius Health Care Center of Millbury, where she had resided for the past seven years.
Her husband, of 64 years, Peter A. Nelson, died four years ago. She leaves a niece, five nephews; and several grand nephews and grand nieces. She was born in Sutton in 1913, daughter of Charles and Malvina (Morin) Tebo and remained a life long resident of Sutton.
She was a past member of the Sutton Historical Society, the Sutton Garden Club and the Worcester Horticultural Society. She was an avid botanist, and the architect of many award winning floral presentations within the Horticultural SocietyTM)s exhibitions.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 1st in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Worcester Horticultural Society, 11 French Dr., Boylston, MA 01505.
