Heidi L. Wilder, 56, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a 2-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Heidi was born in Worcester on April 19th and was 1 day shy of her 57th birthday. She was the daughter of Roger Wilder and the late Arline Wilder. Heidi graduated from Keefe Tech in Framingham where she studied hairdressing. Heidi worked for 25 years at Astra-Zeneca in Westborough.

Heidi is survived by her loving and devoted son, Brett S. Wilder, his girlfriend Katie Luby, and the family dog, Sampson; 3 sisters; Lorna Wilder of Millbury, Pennie Losanno and her husband, Victor of Holliston and Gina Wilder and her boyfriend Mike Dresser of Douglas; 4 nieces and nephews: Brittany and Miranda Williams of Douglas, Jamie and Christopher Losanno of Holliston, her aunts Virginia Bowness of Millbury and Linda Loiselle of Webster, and her uncle Howard Wilder with his wife Carol of Holyoke. She also leaves behind several family members and friends.

Heidi is predeceased by not only her mother Arline, but her loving son Shane Wilder, paternal grandparents Lillian and Eugene Wilder and maternal grandparents Eva and Harold White, her uncle David White, her cousin Todd Bowness, her aunt Ebba Wilder, and her uncle Paul Loiselle.

Heidi was most proud of her loving and devoted sons, Shane and Brett and her devoted and loving family. Heidi was a dedicated and hard worker who enjoyed spending her weekends doing yard work and sitting outside with Sampson, even while she was undergoing treatment. Heidi enjoyed spending her summers at the beach with her family. Heidi's sense of humor and infectious laugh will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Heidi's family would like to thank the devoted staff at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston with a special thanks to Dr. Andrea Enzinger, Dr. Thomas Clancy, and Dr. James Cleary for their compassion and dedication in treating Heidi.

Heidi's funeral service will held on Thursday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. in the First Congregational Church, 148 West Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22nd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Heidi to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place – West 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
