MILLBURY - Helen N. Brown, 82, of 27 Miles St., died Thursday, March 24th in the Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge.
She leaves a few cousins and close friends. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Dr. Arthur A. and Julia (Buckley) Brown and was a lifetime resident of Millbury and was a summertime resident of Kennebunkport, Maine. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1939 and then from Regis College in 1942.
Helen was a French language teacher for the Millbury public school department for many years, before she retired.
She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and the Massachusetts Teachers Association.
Her funeral will be held Monday, March 28th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, March 28th, in the funeral home.
