Helen M. (Rasmussen) Burda, 82, died Tuesday Dec. 15th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester following complications from surgery.
She leaves sons David McCarthy of Hopkinton and Paul McCarthy of Fort Myers, Florida. Her son Joseph McCarthy died in infancy.
Prior to her retirement, Helen worked at Berkshire Life Insurance in Pittsfield and Insurance Reconstruction Services in Fort Myers, Florida.
Her calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org.
