MILLBURY Helen M. (Flynn) Hamilton, 83, of 4 Juniper Dr., died Sunday, June 24th in Radius Health Care Center.
Her husband, Francis J. Hamilton died in 2004. She leaves a daughter, Marie Guillory of Millbury; a brother, Joseph M. Flynn and his wife, Jane C. of Putnam CT.; a sister-in-law, Isabel Flynn of Florida; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents, William A. and Rose Marie (Walsh) Flynn and a brother, Edward J. Flynn. She graduated from South High School in Worcester, then from Regis College in Weston MA and she then received her Masters Degree in Education from Worcester State College.
Helen was a public school teacher in Worcester until 1965 and then in Millbury from 1970 to 1988. She was a member of the Massachusetts Retired Teachers Association.
A private graveside service will be held in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mass. Chapter 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Mulhane Home for Funerals is assisting the family with arrangements.
