MILLBURY Helen R. (Mielnicki) LaCrosse, 74, died Tuesday, April 6th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
She leaves her husband, Robert P. LaCrosse; a son, Robert P. LaCrosse Jr. of Millbury; a daughter, Sharon Markey and her husband, Thomas of Stratham, NH; a sister, Rosalie Graveline and her husband, Stanley of West Dennis; five grandchildren, Megan, Derek, James, Brandon and Alex; nephews and nieces. She was born in Milford and was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose (Szlosek) Mielnicki
Helen was a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for 32 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of St. Brigid Church. Helen graduated from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in 1955 and St. Joseph's College in Maine where she received a B.S. degree. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Foxwoods.
Her funeral will be held Friday, April 9th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 8th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, in care of VNA Care Network, Inc.
