MILLBURY - Helen G. (Pendergast) Roach, 94, of Millbury, died Monday, April 14th.
Her husband, Martin J. Roach Jr. died in 1992. She leaves two sons, Martin J. Roach III and his wife Joan of Whitinsville and David E. Roach and his wife Linda of Sutton; five grandchildren, Anne Roach of Boston, John Roach of San Francisco, Paul Roach of Boston, Elizabeth Roach of Brookline and Carolyn Roach of Los Angeles; nephews and nieces. Helen was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Edward J. Pendergast Sr. and Josephine (Raher) Pendergast, a brother, Edward J. Pendergast Jr. and a sister, Mary Fogarty.
Mrs. Roach previously worked at Brown Shoe, the Millbury National Bank and for the town of Millbury.
Her funeral will be held Friday April 18th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Martin J. Roach Jr. Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 134, Millbury, MA 01527.
