MILLBURY- Helen F. (Cofsky) White, 89, died Saturday, March 19th at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
Her husband, Robert F. White died in 2007. She leaves three children, Patricia A. White Ingalls of Dudley with whom she lived for the past 2 years, Margaret White-Guthro of Newburyport and Robert F. White Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Woburn; 8 grandchildren, Amy Capomacchio of Philadelphia, PA, Jonathan Capomacchio of Millbury and Peter Capomacchio of Hoboken, NJ, Cara and Christopher White and Michael White and his wife, Erin of Woburn, Dillon and Aiden Guthro of Newburyport; 2 great grandchildren, Tristian and Landon White; nieces and nephews.
Helen graduated from Millbury High School 1944 and was a poll worker for 49 years in Millbury. She was a member of St. Brigid Parish, the Millbury Council on Aging and also a volunteer at the Senior Center until 2 weeks ago, a member of the Millbury Women's Club and was also active in many other community based organizations. She worked part time at Parker Metal Goods while her children were in college.
Helen's funeral will be held Wednesday, March 23rd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 22nd in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St. Millbury, MA 01527.
