MILLBURY – Henry J. Charron, 82, died Sunday, March 13th in his home, after being stricken ill. He was the son of the late Henry and Gladys (Harnois) Charron.
Henry is survived by two sons and a daughter, Robert Charron and his wife Dolores of South Grafton, John Charron of Beverly and Mary E. Gagliardi of Millbury. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Michael, Peter, Matthew and Christina Charron, and Thomas, Joseph and Julie Gagliardi; two great grandchildren, Luke and Anna Charron of Webster and a sister, Constance Charron of Belmont. He was predeceased by the great love of his life, Shirley M. (Veo) Charron, who died in 2001 and a son, Thomas M. Charron, who died in 1979.
Henry worked for the Wonder Bread Company in West Boylston for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean War era, was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #170 and a long time member of St. Brigid Church.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, March 16th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the Funeral Mass, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
