MILLBURY Henry W. Davidson, 66, of 79 Horne Way, died Monday, Jan. 23rd in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester.
His wife, of 45 years, Phyllis E. (Bombard) Davidson died in October. He leaves three sons, Mark A. Davidson of Uxbridge, Paul A. Davidson of East Brookfield and Corey J. Davidson of Millbury; a brother, Donald Davidson of Webster; two sisters, Lee Goodnow of Mendon and Gail Davidson of Chester, Virginia; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Grace, Michael, Samantha, Henry, Arthur, Lila, Ryan and Zachary Davidson; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a brother, William Davidson and two sisters, Nancy Hammond and Suzanne Bell. He was born in Bristol, CT son of Henry and Ruth (Reinhard) Davidson.
Mr. Davidson was a Customer Engineer for the IBM Company in Worcester and Waltham for 37 years, retiring in 1997. He was actively involved in the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He was a devoted husband and father and primary caregiver to his wife for many years.
His funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. noon, Saturday, Jan. 28th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27th, in the funeral home. Burial will be in private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donorTM)s choice.
