MILLBURY - Howard B. May, 64, of Millbury and Vershire Vermont, died Tuesday, May 1, in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Millbury.
He leaves five brothers, John May of Temicula, Ca., Kevin May of Long Beach, California, Robert May of Los Angeles, Ca. Frank May of Millbury and Martin May of Nalcrist, Fl.; twelve sisters, Sr. Virginia May of the Sisters of St. Francis in West Medford, Helen Norton, Grace B. May, Barbara Boria, Regina Bleau and Maureen May all of Millbury, Elizabeth Coleman of North Grafton, Marion Falcone of Shrewsbury, Catherine Lapointe of Worcester, Mary Congdon of Southbridge, Margaret May of Yarmouthport and Sheila Courchaine of North Brookfield; nephews and nieces. Two brothers, William D. May and Lawrence J. May predeceased him. He was born in Millbury, son of John F. and Anna G. (Kelliher) May and lived here most of his life. He graduated from Millbury High School.
Mr. May worked at the Felters Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
Funeral will be held Friday, May 4 from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts Veterans Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, Ma. 01605.
