JUNO BEACH, FL - Ida Mary (Pichierri) Shepard, 79 of Juno Beach Florida, formerly of Millbury, Ma. passed away, November 11th, 2006, in Florida.
She now rests peacefully in Heaven reunited with her beloved husband of 44 years, Roland "Shep" Shepard. Ida was born in Millbury on April 26, 1927, daughter of Giovanni Pichierri and Marianna (Chiaie) Picherri of Cava, Italy.
Ida leaves behind her pride and joy of her life, son John J. Shepard and his wife Beverly of Jacksonville, Fl., her daughter Linda Stepenovitch and her husband Joe of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., and her youngest son Gerald Shepard and his wife Bridget of New Orleans, La. Ida also leaves six grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren, her devoted sister Angie Lynch, her brother Joe Picherri and his wife Bette of Millbury, sister- in- law Beverly Picherri of Auburn, sister-in-law Faith LeBoeuf of Shrewsbury, and her brother-in-law Thomas Smith and wife Sandy of Worcester. She also leaves several cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Ida will always be remembered as a warm, caring and generous person by her family, lifelong friends and all casual acquaintances. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her for her entire life or for just a short moment in time.
A golden heart stopped beating today.
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked memorials may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach. Fl. 33407.
