PORT CHARLOTTE, FL – Irwin Gordon "Clarkie" Clark, Jr. 91 passed away February 4, 2012 in Port Charlotte.
He leaves his wife of 64 years, Marjorie (Green) Clark; a son Gordon Clark; a daughter, Lorna (Clark) McGrath; a brother, George Clark; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. He was born in Uxbridge, MA and raised his family in Oxford, MA.
After serving in the US Coast Guard during WW II he spent his career in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning, before retiring to Port Charlotte, FL in 1984.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 21st in the First Congregational Church, 148 West Main St. in Millbury, MA. Burial will follow in West Millbury Cemetery in Millbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
