MILLBURY – James W. Violette, 54, died Friday, Nov. 13th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, after a short illness.
He leaves his wife, Shirley A. (Brewer) Violette; a daughter, Kimberly A. Violette of Auburn; a son, Keith T. Violette and his wife Susan of Millbury; two grand-daughters, Alexis and Zoey; his father, Richard Warren of Millbury; three sisters, Jean Coston of Maine, Carol Eichmuller of Oxford and Sherry Chute of Charlton; a brother, Daniel Violette of Webster; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Lewiston, Maine and is predeceased by his mother, Sylvia (Kennedy) Warren and his brother, Louis Peter Violette.
James worked 32 years at the former Coppus Engineering in Millbury and then at ABEC Inc. of Uxbridge in quality control, until the present time.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Brigid Church 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be at Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16th at the funeral home.
