MILLBURY – James F. Ward III, 39, died Sunday Dec. 14th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus in Worcester after he was stricken unexpectedly, Dec. 4th.
He leaves his parents, James F. Ward Jr. and Sandra J. (Woodward) Ward; three sisters, Pamela L. Royer and her husband, Daniel of Sterling, CT, Patricia A. Goodrich and her husband, Brian of Oxford and Susan M. Simpson and her Fiancée, Evan Redden of Charlton; five nieces and two nephews; aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Jim formerly worked at Greenwood Industries in Millbury and at St. Gobain in Worcester. He was a member of the Sons of the Vernon Hill American Legion Post #435 in Worcester and he attended the yearly Millbury Old Timers Banquets. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School and was an avid Red Sox fan and he loved beautiful cars, motorcycles, animals and beaches. Over the years he had many great friends that he spent much time with and also loved spending much time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all.
His funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 19th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr. in Auburn. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18th in the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
