MILLBURY - Jane V. (Urban) Ahaesy, 76, of 26 Linda Avenue, died Friday, April 25 in the Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Edward J. Ahasey Jr.; a brother, Chester Urban of Sarco, Maine and River Beach, Florida; a sister, Mary Boehenke of Worcester; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Anna (Kaczor) Urban and lived in Worcester and Connecticut and has lived in Millbury for 25 years. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in 1946.
Mrs. Ahasey worked in the accounting department of Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford Connecticut and Worcester, before she retired.
She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and the Millbury Council on Aging.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 30, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 in the funeral home.
