Jean O. (Larson) Lareau, 78, died Saturday, July 23rd surrounded at home by her family.
Jean leaves eight children; Bernice Paquette and husband Brian of Thompson, CT, Roger P. Lareau Jr. and wife Hayley of Bronx, NY, Robert Lareau and wife Carmen of Worcester, MA, Ronald Lareau of Sterling, MA, Paul Lareau of Lexington, SC, Brenda Gallo and husband Chris of West Boylston, MA, Lisa Lareau-Hudson of Cayce, SC and Leo Lareau of West Boylston, MA; many beloved grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a brother, Al Larson (93) of Charlton. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Yvonne (Brown) Lareau; her sister, Shirley Wojack, brothers, John and Archie Larson; her former husband, Roger P. Lareau Sr. who died in 1989.
Jean was an avid sports fan. She loved watching the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. She had a passion for cooking while listening to country music, as well as playing the slot machines. Her favorite pastime was drinking Coca-Cola on the sunny beach. Above all though, she cherished being surrounded by friends and family. Her laughter was infectious, her house was always inviting, and her loving soul touched the lives of many. She will be immensely missed.
Her service and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
