Jean M. Orrell

MILLBURY- Jean M. (Brenner) Orrell,90, passed away quietly on August 12, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Auburn.

She leaves her husband of 70 years, Donald Orrell.  Jean was predeceased by her son Keith Orrell of Upton.  She also leaves two sons, Gary Orrell of Charlton and Scott Orrell and his wife, Cheryl of Oxford; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Jean enjoyed being at the lake in Charlton, time with family, bowling, playing the organ, knitting, crosswords, playing cards and cocktails with friends.  She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile.

Jean and Don spent years volunteering at the Shriner’s Hospitals, The Boston Burns Hospital and the Springfield Orthopedics Hospital.  They also spent several years volunteering at The Masonic Learning Center for Dyslexia in Worcester.  Jean was a school bus driver for 30 years in Millbury.

Family and friends will remember Jean’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, August 18^th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19^th at 10 a.m. in the First Congregational Church of Millbury on 148 West Main Street.  Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester.
