WORCESTER Jerry D. Horner, 65, of 101 Chadwick St., formerly of Millbury, died Wednesday, Oct. 19th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a long illness.
Jerry leaves his wife of 37 years, Marlene (Legassey) Horner; his seven children, Jerry Horner Jr. and his wife, Anna Bitgood of Severn, MD, Teresa wife of Richard Giordano of Chelmsford, Beth Ann wife of Pedro Oliveria of Millbury, Marlene Horner of Millbury, Heather wife of Frank DeFilippi of Londonderry, NH, Mary Horner of Webster and Robert Horner of Millbury; five grandchildren. He was born in Odin Illinois, son of the late, Robert K. and Lucille (Berryhill) Horner. Mr. Horner was a car salesman at Harr Dodge in Worcester, for many years. He graduated from Wentworth Military Academy and Parsians College in Fairfield, Iowa.
Services are private and burial will be with his parents in Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Diabetes Association 330 Congress Street Boston, MA 02210. Mulhane Home for Funerals, is assisting the family with arrangements.
