MILLBURY - Joan L. (Charette) Albertson, 61, of 107 Wheelock Avenue, and of Leicester, died Sunday, April 22, in St. Vincent Hospital at the Worcester Medical Center.
She leaves five daughters, Doreen Ward of Hudson, Darlene LaRue and Robin D. Coppellotti, both of Millbury, Christina Tokus of Douglas and Michelle Sands of Worcester; two brothers, William Charette and Kenneth Charette and a sister, Barbara David all of Homosassa Springs, Florida; half-sisters and a half-brother; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by two brothers, Robert Charette and Donald Charette. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis and Marion (Nero) Charette and lived in Leicester before moving to Millbury five years ago.
Mrs. Albertson was a machine operator at Wright Wire and Komtec Companies, both in Worcester before recently retiring. She was a member of St. StephenTM)s Church in Worcester.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, in St. Stephens Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Why Me, Inc. 316 Main St., Worcester, Mass. 01608. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is in charge of the arrangements.
