MILLVILLE - Joan R. (Lodge) Foster, 65, of 8 Lincoln Street, died Monday, Jan. 20, in Millford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, Milford.
Her husband, William P. Foster, died in 1996. She leaves son, Michael P. Foster of Millville; two daughters, Deborah A. Trythall of Bellingham and Cynthia A. Moss of Millbury; a brother, Vincent H. Lodge Jr. of Eastport, Maine; 8 grandchildren;nephews and nieces. She was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Vincent H. Lodge Sr. and Elaine O. (Boyden) Lodge and was raised in Eastport, Maine and lived in Medway before moving to Millville in 1997. She graduated from Shead High School in Eastport, Maine and then from Eastern Maine Medical School.
Mrs. Foster was a registered nurse and worked at Milford Whitinsville Regional Hospital for six years prior to working at Medfield State Hospital for nine years, before retiring.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, ( www.mulhane.com ). Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in the funeral home.
