SUTTON – Joanne B. (Baroni) Christie, 65, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, Oct. 13th surrounded by her loving family

Joanne leaves her loving husband of 44 years, David A. Christie; three sons, Steven A. Christie of Sutton, Bryan D. Christie of Somerville and David A. Carlson and his wife, Stacy, of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; two grandchildren, Zoe and Kai; her mother, Barbara A. Baroni of Millbury; her sister, Cynthia MaGuire and her fiancé, Glenn Wells of Millbury; her aunt, Dorothy Sweeney of Worcester; her uncle, Richard Baroni of Millbury; her brother-in-law, Donald B. Christie, and his wife, Cheryl, of Holden; her father-in-law, William R. Christie, of Shrewsbury; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She also leaves many, many loving friends.  Joanne is predeceased by her father, Anthony R. Baroni, Sr. and her brother, Anthony R. Baroni, Jr.

Joanne worked for 48 years at Fisher Auto Parts in Worcester, formerly Christie & Thomson Auto Parts.  Joanne enjoyed watching sports and reading, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.

Family and friends will remember and celebrate Joanne’s life with a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 20th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Face masks or coverings are required in the funeral home.

Her funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21st at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
