John Casey

September 4, 1936 — April 22, 2004

MILLBURY John A. Casey Jr., 67, of 22 Woodland St., died Thursday, April 22nd in UMSS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, in Worcester.

He leaves his wife, Geraldine C. (Klieza) Casey; three children, Deborah A. Casey of West Palm Beach, Florida, John M. Casey of Millbury and Christine M. Stephen of Leicester; four brothers, Thomas D. Casey of Holden, Charles F. Casey of Shrewsbury, Ralph D. Casey of Worcester and Michael P. Casey of Dana Point, Ca.; a sister, Carol Leschke of Holden; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth J. Casey. He was born in Worcester, son of John and Marie (Campaneillo) Casey.

Mr. Casey was a produce manager at the First National Stores, for 28 years. He then worked at the Felters Company in Millbury and for the Stop & Shop Stores, before retiring 4 years ago. He was a former assistant scout master for Troop 109 and Troop 143 and was a former member the Army National Guard. He was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, April 27th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday April 26th , in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, Ma. 02210
