SUTTON John L. Crewe III, 79, of 8 Davis Circle, died Saturday, May 29th in his home, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Helen T. (McGovern) Largess Crewe; a son Scott L. Crewe of Pomfret Center, Connecticut; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. He was born in Vineland, N.J., son of John L. Crewe Jr. and Ruth W. (Wanser) Crewe. He is predeceased by his first wife, Ann F. (Forest) Crewe and a daughter, Denise Crewe.
Mr. Crewe owned and operated Crewe Associates in Millbury and Oxford since 1960, retiring in 1993. He was an Air Force veteran during WW II.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1st in St. MarkTM)s Church, 356 Boston Rd. Sutton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, Ma. 01613. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is assisting the family.
