RANDOLPH – John E. "Jake" Deeter III, 46, formerly of Millbury, passed away Tuesday, March 11th in his home, after being stricken ill.
Jake is survived by his wife, Darlene (Minney) Deeter of Worcester; his parents, John E. Deeter Jr. and Deatra K. (Ford) Deeter of Millbury; his daughter, Aubrey Deeter; his step-daughter, Lacey Gregoire and her daughter, Savannah; his brother, Michael Deeter and family; his sisters, Melissa Bourdeau and family and Heidi Deeter all of Millbury; his long-time companion, Sandra Spring and her son, Michael of Randolph.
Jake was raised in Millbury and graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1985. He served in the US Navy for four years and was employed in construction for many years, mainly as a stone mason. He loved his family and pets and will be missed very much.
Jake's calling hours will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19th in Mulhane Home for Funerals 45 Main St. in Millbury. His funeral service will immediately follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Inc. (a veteran's shelter) 69 Grove St. in Worcester, MA 01605.
