MILLBURY John Huchowski, 87, died Thursday, May 20th in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Shirley A. (Collette) Huchowski; two sons, John A. Huchowski and his wife, Marcia of Williamsburg, VA and Jay J. Huchowski and his wife, Deborah of Millbury; a daughter, Joy K. Jacobson of Worcester; five grandchildren, Paige Yeatman and her husband Mark, Jay Huchowski and his wife Amy, Shea, Scott and Wade Huchowski; six great grandchildren, Reese, Owen and Drew Yeatman, Todd, Hailey and Samuel Huchowski; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Kathryn (Novak) Huchowski, a sister, Helen Huchowski, and three brothers, Stanley, Joseph and Walter Huchowski.
John was born and raised in South Grafton and attended Grafton Schools. He worked at Hayward-Schuster for 45 years and then at the Felters Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1992. He loved sports, especially baseball and traveling. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Beaumont Nursing Home of Worcester for their loving care and help during a difficult time.
His funeral will be held Monday, May 24th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 23rd in the funeral home.
