MILLBURY John J. Hall, 71, of 8 West St., died Sunday, Jan 9th in the VNA Hospice Residence, Worcester.
His wife, Joan W. (Donnelly) Hall died in 1992. He leaves a son, John H. Hall and his wife Laurie of Douglas and a daughter, Christine L. wife of John H. Caron of Millbury; two brothers, Joseph Bernard Hall and Michael Hall both of Millbury; two sisters, Margaret Herbst of Dudley and Ann Kenneway of Ellenton, Fl.; five grandchildren, John H. Caron Jr., Crystal Caron, Colleen Caron, Rachel Hall and Lindsey Hall; a close friend, Ruth Nordstrom; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a sister, Rose Wood and two brothers, Eugene Hall and David Hall. He was born in Millbury son of Eugene B. and Antoinette (Maranda) Hall.
Mr. Hall was a truck driver, for M&M Transportation and Red Star Express, before he retired. He then worked at the Blackstone National Golf Club until the present. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #170 and Local #25. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean War. He was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, a life member and past commander from 1973 to 1975 of the Charles F. Minney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
His funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 13th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12th in the funeral home. Members of the Charles F. Minney Post will conduct a ritual at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12th in the funeral home.
