MILLBURY - John T. Miller, 74, formerly of 6 Woodrow Road, died Friday, Nov. 30, in Providence House Nursing Home of Millbury.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Patricia R. (Messervey) Miller; two daughters, Patricia J. Weidman of Millbury and Paula R. Doane of Mosheimn, Tn.; two sons, David L. Miller of Saucier Miss. and Leonel W. Miller of Roy, Utah; a brother, Harry E. Miller of Berlin; three sisters, Mary Donadio of Grafton, Alice Ferris of Upton and Bessie Morgan of Worcester; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by a brother, Sameul Miller and a sister, Edna Miller. He was born in Worcester, son of Harry E. Miller and Bessie (Betts) Miller Boucher and has lived here 41 years. He attended Worcester Schools including Worcester Boys Trade High School.
Mr. Miller was a machinist at Millbury Engineering for many years, retiring in 1989. Previously he was an industrial painter for Frank L. Adams Industrial Painting in Worcester. He served in the Merchant Marines during WW II and the he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity.
