John J. Mulhane

MILLBURY/WORCESTER - John J. Mulhane, 80, died Sunday Dec. 1st at CareOne Nursing Home in Millbury.

He leaves two brothers, his twin brother, Stuart D. Mulhane and his wife, Mary Lou of Millbury and his brother, Dennis M. Mulhane Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Sutton; a niece, Emily Crandall and two nephews, Matthew Mulhane and Nicholas Mulhane. He was born in Worcester, son of Dennis M. Mulhane Sr. and Jane N. (Stewart) Mulhane.

John attended Holy Cross College in Worcester before enlisting during the Vietnam era with the U.S. Air Force. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army and its Reserve Unit for many years, before retiring. John also worked for Mass Electric years ago and for the US postal service during the holiday seasons. He was a member of the Devoe Taylor American Legion Post #9 in Millbury. 

A time of visitation to honor and remember John’s life will be held on Thursday Dec. 5th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday Dec. 6th at 10:30 am in St. Brigid’s Church, 59 N. Main St. in Millbury. Burial with military honors will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
