WORCESTER – John P. Prunier, 53, formerly of Millbury, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 28th in his home.
John leaves his children, Danielle E. Elliott and her husband, Robert of Douglas and Nicholas J. Prunier of Douglas; two grandchildren, Rowan and Harper; his father, Ronald A. Prunier and his long-time companion, Maxine Mayotte of Worcester; his nephew, Joshua Prunier of Worcester; his ex-wife, Christine D. Scarafoni of Hamilton; longtime companion, Denise Clinton of Douglas; a cousin, Jill Carter of Oxford. He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara A. (Sweeney) Prunier and his brother, Ronald F. Prunier.
John loved his motorcycles, riding to Laconia and down to Daytona with friends and working on his vehicles. He loved having the latest gadgets and tinkering around the three family. He loved wearing black with everything, even in the summer. He always loved putting a smile on the faces of others and would give the shirt of his back to anyone, even those that he barely knew. As anyone that knew him, even for a moment would say that he was the sweetest, kindest and most gold hearted person they have had the pleasure of meeting. Above all else, he loved spending time with family and friends who were the people that mattered the most to him. John’s unconditional love, bear hugs and double kisses will be remembered and cherished by all. Heaven has truly gained an angel whose love will live on in all those that had the pleasure of knowing him. As John would always say, “God Bless”.
Family and friends will honor and remember John’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, Feb. 1st from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2nd in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Teamsters Local 170 Scholarship Fund, at 330 Southwest Cutoff, Worcester, MA 01604, In Care of John P. Prunier.
