Joseph Carpinetti passed away the evening of November 26th 2015.
He leaves his wife Gertrude (Platts) of 65 years of marriage, and a son David, who resides in West Brookfield. His daughter, JoAnne passed in 1995.
He attended Worcester schools and moved to Millbury in 1959. He worked as a Mack Truck Mechanic/Driver for Owens-Illinois for 34 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and extended family of 'grandkids' that always made him laugh and feel young again. He had fond memories of the many winters spent in Florida enjoying the warm weather and socializing with the many friends he had while living there. He also enjoyed his summers spent at Sebago Lake.
He was a dedicated father to his son of 59 years, often assisting him in his construction business and was the driving force for his many personal projects that are still underway. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends as the guy we all know as the friendliest guy in the room.
Joseph's calling hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1st at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Millbury.
