MILLBURY Joseph E. Dunn Jr., 74, of 38 Prospect St., died Sunday, Nov. 27th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy J. (Torigian) Dunn; a daughter, Patricia D. wife of Andrew Peterson of Melrose; two sisters, Carol wife of Daniel Gilbert of Millbury and Elizabeth Fischer of Franklinville, N.J.; three grandchildren, Sarah, Megan and Noah Peterson; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph E. Dunn Sr. and Anna (Hughes) Dunn. He graduated from Millbury High School in 1949 and then Becker Junior College.
Mr. Dunn worked at the Felters Company in Millbury for many years and then worked at Wyman Gordon Company in Worcester and Grafton, before he retired. He was a Marine Corp veteran during the Korean conflict, serving in Korea. He was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, the Charles F. Minney V.F.W. Post and the Greendale MenTM)s Club.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donorTM)s choice.
