Joseph Leben

MILLBURY Joseph F. Leben, 63, of 2 Brierly Circle, formerly of Clarendon Hills, Illinois and Minocqua Wisconsin, died Thursday, Oct. 5th in his home after an illness.

He leaves his wife, Martha Moore; two daughters, Erin Leben of Vancouver, British Columbia and Katie Paulson of Minneapolis; two grandsons, Thor and Guthrie Paulson; two brothers, Frank Leben of Arizona and John Leben of Michigan; two step-daughters, Jennifer Galasso of North Attleboro and Brooke Bishara of Worcester.

Born in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of Frank and Alvine (Paserpsky) Leben. He attended the University of Illinois where he majored in computer science. Mr. Leben was a computer programmer and technical writer. He began his own company, Leben Inc. 20 years ago, providing internet-based training courses for companies in the Midwest and Northeast. He was an avid reader, creative writer and loved spending time with his family and friends at his lake home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 2 p.m., in the Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main St., Millbury. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Mulhane Home for Funerals, Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
